Who I am
I'm a journalist from Minas Gerais, a communications entrepreneur and a literature lover. I've reached a point in my life where I've had to make a decision: allied to the work I've been doing for 10 years in my communications agency, I'm going to follow my heart and take the plunge into literature, which is my great passion. It's what makes my eyes light up. I will dedicate my time to a variety of reading and to contributing to making Brazil a country of readers. I decided to write more about myself in a different way. Find out 20 things about me:
1. I love soccer! I really do! I'm a fanatical supporter;
2. But I can understand that soccer is the most important of the less important things;
3. I love traveling;
4. If I were a country, I'd be England, although I love Brazil;
5. Books are my passion. I dive in and forget the world around me;
6. I have a compulsion to buy books. Sometimes I buy 10 in one go;
7. I also love writing;
8. I'm producing my first novel;
9. I don't really like the gym, but I like outdoor activities;
10. My favorite place to reflect is the shore of Lagoa dos Ingleses;
11. At 1.66, I used to be a volleyball player, registered with the Minas Gerais federation;
12. I'm from Minas Gerais and I have a great accent;
13. I love the beach as much as I love cold places;
14. I'm completely a day person. At night I'm dedicated to restoring my energy (especially after having a baby);
15. I have a beautiful Golden Retriever;
16. If I were a food, I think it would be sweets, for sure!!! I love it!
17. I read my first book when I was five, O Bode de Botas - Mary França and Eliardo França;
18. I have a son who is the reason for my life. Although he's very small, he already loves "reading";
19. I have a husband who is my great partner in life;
20. I'm a dreamer, but sometimes I need a dose of grounding. Even to dream!
It's great to have recommendations of good books to read. I've been following your posts and have already bought some of the books you've recommended. Congratulations on your work. Success!!!!
Hello!
I worked at Izabela Hendrix for many years. I'm a Portuguese teacher, passionate about our language and books, just like you. I'm currently immersed in Portuguese-speaking African writers. At the moment, I'm reading Mulheres de Cinzas by Mia Couto.
It's great to have a space where you can share readings and think about them. I really want to follow you! Success in your work!
